TEN MILE

Scope:

Ten Mile is an existing mountain residence — originally an A-frame with a later addition — that carried the charm of its era alongside the dated finishes to match. Z. TAY Designs was engaged to refresh the home's original spaces, steering it away from its 80s cabin aesthetic toward something more current and considered. The scope included a full design direction for several bathrooms and the kitchen, encompassing tile selections, vanities, countertops, appliances, hardware, and wallpaper. Beyond the hard finishes, Z. TAY Designs guided a whole-home paint palette and designed custom drapery — bringing a soft, tailored finish to a home that had great bones and simply needed a new point of view.
